Job Shadowing is where students are seeking an opportunity to find out, to a small degree, what certain occupations entail, which hopefully motivates the students to perform well in school and to potentially pursue a specific career.   For example, students "shadow" attorneys in their offices and in court, contractors involved in a construction project, insurance brokers assisting their customers, stock brokers following the market and assisting their customers, health care professionals performing their daily duties, and several other occupations.

Here are the Rotarians who have indicated they will provide sites / opportunities for Job Shadowing for students.   The ideal shadowing of an occupation would be a full day of job shadowing, but if that doesn't work, perhaps 4-5 days (1-2 hours) after-school.
