Gerald Greene and David A. Nygaard receive help from Slate Creek Student Erik Brown selling fruit at O'Reilly Auto Parts

Rotarians Gerald Greene and David A. Nygaard receive help from Slate Creek Student Erik Brown selling fruit at O'Reilly Auto Parts this past December.  Proceeds from the sale of the fruit will be used to help eradicate Polio around the world, purchase dictionaries for all the third graders in HarvyCounty and to purchase six Wii's for Newton's school system.  SlateCreekElementary School was one of the schools who received one of the six Wii's to be used by their physical education department. This was one of over 75 projects completed by The Rotary Club of Newton the past year.  The club was chartered in 1917 and is 92 years old and is the oldest service club in HarvyCounty.
